"Two thousand and eleven made me who I am."

Two thousand and eleven has been a great year for me. It’s not perfect but it sure is one hell of a ride. It probably is the year where I’ve been through my highest ups and my lowest downs. So to give you guys a walk-through of my 2011, I am giving you guys… a list! :D

6. Low grades in my first semester. :(

7. No fireworks this New Year’s Eve. Huhu.

This is just what I remember as of now. But if ever I get to remember more, I’m sure to update these lists!

It was the year I am reminded that I am a human, I do fall down. But it is true, what they say, you pick yourself back up. This was the time when I started to think more maturely and began to be rational and reasonable. I have grown up. Not just literally, but deep within. 2011 gave me my life lessons. 2011 taught me what it is to be a human being. It taught me how to feel, how to think. It is then when I started to act my age and not pretend to be somebody else. And it probably is the time I began experimenting on myself (hello, curly hair!) and started to learn who I really am and find the purpose of my life. Though 2011 has gone by, I will NEVER say goodbye to it.

2011 made me who I am today. :’) ♥

  • I guess every single year contributes something or the other towards our progress as people. But it’s true…some years seem to stand out more.

Happy New Year to you, hoping that this year turns out even better! :)

  • Wow! Incredible lil list… You really gave your graduation speech? how awesome! : ) You won an essay competition? No Surprise there! :P : )

Exactly a year ago, Jan ’11 I lost one of my grand parents too.. my grand mom : ( I have certainly grown too in 2011. It has made me who I am today as well.. : )
    Happy new year btw!

PS: I hope your mom gets alright real soon.
    TC : )

    • Hihi. Thank you for the compliments. :’) Oh. I’m sorry to hear that.. But I think with every loss we have, sooner or later, God will give us something to gain. ;)

Happy New Year to you, too! And thank you for being concern. :’) That’s really sweet of you. *hugs*

  • Congratulations on all of your achievements. That is definitely quite the handful! Ah, I totally miss polaroid camera’s. My mom actually used to have one, but we don’t use it anymore because the film is so rare nowadays, and it’s so expensive!

But there will always be the downs of life. It’s how you deal with them that matters, and it seems like you are on the right path. I never knew my grandparents, but I almost lost my mom. I can only imagine the pain of losing somebody that you love in your life. Hope your mother is better soon.

Oh and thanks for the follow by the way :D

    • Thank you! Hihi. Yes, indeed. The film is really expensive. :( Huhu. And the fact that they are hard to find makes it even more expensive.

Thank you, I’ll let her now what you said. :) It’s really nice to find comfort from people who you don’t really know much but are still there for you. :) It’s really heartwarming. :’)

No biggie! I enjoyed your posts! :) *hugs*

      • Haha, super expensive right?! Oh man, but I sure do miss that camera.

And no problem! You will always find people that are willing to help, no matter what. I’ve run into people like that, and they totally make my day. So, my goal is to be as selfless as they were to me.

Well, thank you!! And I hope that everything goes well with you and your mother especially :D
